Foundervine has gone into a partnership for many years with the Lloyds Banking Group to support Black business’s growth all over the United Kingdom.
MBE Claudine Reid will chair the Black Business Advisory Committee. Her duties will include understanding the requirements of the owners of Black businesses and aspiring them. Foundervine is interested in joining the correct organization, hoping to make this world better for everyone. The senior leaders have displayed a high level of care and caliber as per the Director, Cecil Adjalo. Foundervine will be launched in 2021 and work with Lloyds Banking Group to increase investment, enhance the growth opportunities while opening up doors of the lending providers for the founders. Together, the Foundervine and the Lloyds Banking Group’s new partnership will start with a course that is four weeks long to help prepare the Black entrepreneurs. It will further their investment skills; besides, it will help them link up with potential investors. The partnership will also plan events to provide a platform for the Black business owners to seek potential investors and layout opportunities for their growth. According to the Managing Director, Izzy Obeng, they believe at Foundervine that a person’s ambition is the only barrier to their success. Everyone should be equipped with tools so that they may invest in the future. Izzy elaborated that an economy, with nearly two million unemployed, has miles to go towards equality, and they are determined much more than ever before.
The Black business community faces genuine barriers and very exclusive challenges. It is a challenge that thew will undertake in Lloyd’s Race Action plan to support Black businesses entrepreneurs and the Black community. They are looking outwards to help communities and clients ensure that the United Kingdom’s business landscape is complete, inclusive, and accessible to the Black community. They seek the help of experts and partners in the Black community to build the right support program to help the Black businesses begin, grow, and expand.
